Baltimore, MD : Pedestrian struck and killed in a crash in Baltimore County on Monday morning, February 1, 2016

A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning in a crash in Baltimore County, police said.

The incident took place before 6 a.m. on Washington Boulevard at Clarke Boulevard in the Halethorpe area, according to Cpl. John Wachter of Baltimore County Police.

The crash closed Washington Boulevard between Interstate 195 and Clarke Boulevard for about three hours. Wachter said around 8:45 a.m. that the road was reopened.

The vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene, Wachter said.
