A Claremore man was killed in a crash in Rogers County on Sunday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
Bradley W. Headrick, 22, died of injuries suffered in a crash about 1:50 p.m. on a county road about six miles east of Claremore.
Headrick was driving east when he attempted to pass another vehicle at an excessive speed and slid off the roadway and hit some trees, the patrol reports.
Headrick was taken to a Claremore hospital where he was pronounced dead. He did not wear a seat belt.
