Cresson, TX : Racer dies in cycle crash at Cresson track Sunday, April 24, 2016

An Arkansas man died Sunday after a motorcycle accident at the Motorsport Ranch in Cresson.

Titus S. Goodger, of Gentry, lost control of his motorcycle on a curve while participating in a Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association sprint race at the track, according to a statement from the Hood County Sheriff’s Office.

Goodger, 43, was transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center but did not survive his injuries, according to law enforcement officials.

According to the CMRA website, Goodger is ranked No. 59 in the CMRA’s novice standings. He participated in three previous events this season, according to the website.
