MADISON, TN : Driver crashes into utility poles on Gallatin Pike in Madison on Wednesday, 7th September 2016

All lanes of Gallatin Pike are back open in Madison after a driver crashed into utility poles overnight, shutting down lanes for hours.

According to police, the driver told officers on scene that another car cut him off around 2 a.m. Wednesday, forcing him off the road and into the poles.

The driver was not hurt, but the wreck did a lot of damage.

NES crews were on scene for hours repairing the poles and restoring power.
