Las Vegas, NV : One dead in crash on WB Summerlin Pkwy at 215 Wednesday on September 17, 2014

One person has died from injuries suffered in a crash on westbound Summerlin Parkway at the 215 beltway. The crash happened at around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. According to Nevada Highway Patrol, two trucks, which were both hauling trailers, crashed. Troopers said one truck was heading northbound on 215 and was exiting off the beltway onto the Summerlin Parkway, when the driver ran a red light and smashed into a second truck, which was headed westbound on Summerlin Parkway. The second truck was pushed into the embankment, where it caught on fire. There were five people in the first truck, three of whom were taken to University Medical Center. There were two people in the second truck and both were taken to UMC. The driver of the first truck died, troopers said. Source : One dead in crash on WB Summerlin Pkwy at 215
