Jackson County, TX : Five people injured after a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 59 northeast of Edna on Saturday morning, April 9, 2016

A two-vehicle wreck in Jackson County sent five people to the hospital Saturday morning.

The wreck occurred about 5:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 59 northeast of Edna, said a Department of Safety official.

Four occupants from one vehicle were Mexican citizens, the officials said.

They were transported to a Jackson County hospital but were released Saturday without injuries.
