At least one person was airlifted to a Charlotte hospital after a vehicle crash in Cabarrus County Saturday.
The wreck happened around 3:45 p.m. near the intersection of Mt. Pleasant and Gold Hill Roads in Rimertown. Officials have not revealed many details, but confirmed that at least one person was taken by helicopter to Carolinas Medical Center.
The person's name and condition have not been released.
It is not clear what may have led to the crash or if any other injuries were reported.
