Pittsburgh, PA : Bicyclist killed in collision with vehicle on the South Side is identified Tuesday August 30, 2016
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office has identified the bicyclist who died Tuesday evening after he collided with a vehicle on West Carson Street.
Dennis Flanagan, 49, of McKees Rocks was pronounced dead at Allegheny General Hospital at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday, according to the medical examiner's office.
Authorities said the crash occurred on West Carson Street at the busway near Station Square about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The medical examiner’s office said he died of injuries he sustained in the crash. His death was ruled accidental.
