Wallington, NJ : Two police officers injured in car crash Bergen County on Sunday January 10, 2016.

Authorities say a motorist crashed through the front of a northern New Jersey convenience store, injuring two police officers who were inside the store.
That the crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. Sunday at a 7-Eleven store in Wallington.
Bergen County authorities say the car driven by 64-year-old borough resident Robert Devlin went about 15 feet into the store. Devlin then started to back his car out of the business but was soon stopped by the two officers, Sgt. Tomasz Kruk and Officer Peter Zagaja.
Devlin was charged with driving while impaired and assault with an auto. It wasn't clear if he has retained an attorney.
The two officers were being treated at a hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported in the accident, and the store remained open for business.
