Humble, TX : Man killed after crashing car into Humble apartment on Tuesday night, November 25, 2014

A driver died in a car crash Tuesday night, after his car slammed into a family's living room in Humble. The family told investigators the Chevy Impala slammed into the side of their apartment around 11 p.m. All 10 family members were sleeping in bedrooms in the back of the apartment at the time of the crash. Fire crews and Humble police officers rushed to the one-story apartments off the 400 block of Bender Avenue. Crews found the driver, who they believe was in his 30s, still in the car. He died at the scene of the crash. Officers said it was still unclear why the driver lost control and left the roadway.
