Wilmington, NC : Cyclist serious injuries after being hit by a car on Sunday night, January 31, 2016

The Wilmington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run Sunday night.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of Oleander Drive at 11:05 p.m. in reference to a man on a bicycle being hit by a car. The car reportedly left the scene immediately and continued west on Oleander Drive.
The cyclist sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The car is described as a silver or grey Nissan Altima, model years 1998-2001. It is missing its right passenger mirror and possibly has damage to the right front corner bumper and around the right front tire.
