Annapolis, MD : Woman seriously injured in crash with tractor trailer in Pasadena on Monday, February 20th 2017

A Woman was flown to the hospital with serious Monday injuries after she crashed her car into a tractor-trailer.

Anne Arundel Fire Department officials said firefighters responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 8500 block of Fort Smallwood Road early Monday morning.

A 60-year-old woman was trapped in her car after she struck the side of a tractor trailer, the department said. She was the only one in her vehicle at the time of the crash.

Firefighters were able to free the woman from the car and she was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with non life-threatening injuries.
