Police say a Lynn man has died in a car crash in Salem. Police say 32-year-old Lawrence Aidoo died when his Ford Mustang struck a tree at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say Aidoo's vehicle was "wrapped around a tree," and believe speed may have been a factor. A witness reported seeing the Mustang pass him at a high rate of speed just prior to the crash. The cause remains under investigation.
