A 62-year-old woman died Monday in a crash with a pickup truck in Carroll County.

The Iowa State Patrol said Sue Ellen Vaughn of Manning was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Delta Avenue north of 300th Street.

Vaughn was northbound on Delta Avenue in a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan when it crossed the center line and collided with a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Elroy Allen Huisenga, 71, of Wall Lake, Iowa, the patrol said.

Huisenga was taken to Manning Regional Healthcare Center in Manning with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, the patrol said.

Vaughn and Huisenga were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
