Butte, MT : Four people died in rollover crash on Monday morning,August 10th 2015
Four people have died in recent crashes on Montana's roadways.
Butte-Silver Bow Undersheriff George Skuletich said two 28-year-old men died in a rollover crash in Butte early Monday. The speeding car failed to negotiate a turn, hit the shoulder of the road and overturned several times.
Skuletich says both were thrown "quite a distance" from the car. One man died at the scene and the other was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Near Belgrade, a 27-year-old Belgrade man died in a rollover crash Saturday evening. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Also Saturday, a 67-year-old Libby man died when the pickup truck he was riding in crashed on Yaak River Road northwest of Troy. Lincoln County Sheriff Roby Bowe says Jon Douglas Reynolds was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the pickup.
