St. Johns County, FL : Woman injured car crash in St. Johns County on Monday, September 1, 2014

A woman is in the hospital after a car crash in St. Johns County. Thomas Cushman, 68, was driving south on CR 305 in a 2008 Toyota Sienna. He stopped at the intersection of SR 207. Mariah Jones, 25, was driving south on SR 207 in the left lane. Cushman drove onto SR 207 into the path of Jones. Jones swerved left to avoid impact with Cushman. The front of Jones’s 2003 Honda Civic hit the left side of Cushman’s car. Cushman has minor injuries. Jones was flown to UF Health in Jacksonville with serious injuries.
