CHESTER COUNTY, SC : 1 killed after crashing into tractor-trailer on I-77N on Tuesday, 16th April 2024

One person has died after crashing into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-77 north, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Around 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, officials responded to I-77 north near mile marker 53, about three miles west of Great Falls.

A 2023 Volvo tractor-trailer was off the right side of the road in the emergency lane when a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup driving north veered off the right side and crashed into the back of the tractor-trailer, highway patrol said.
