Two Faulkner County residents were injured Monday in a one-vehicle crash.

The wreck occurred around noon near the intersection of Wolf Branch and Mode roads, with Guy Fire Department first responders along with the Guy Police Department and the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office responding to the scene.

Zachary Oliverez, who was driving a red Pontiac Sunfire, was driving eastbound on Wolf Branch Road when he lost control of his vehicle, hitting a power line on the other side of the road and driving through a fence.

It appeared as if Oliverez swerved to avoid hitting a tree, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and run off the road, according to a first responder on scene Monday.
