OLEAN, NY : An Olean man was allegedly involved in a car accident on Saturday, 10th March 2018

An Olean man was allegedly involved in a car accident and found to have a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit Saturday.

Lawrence E. Galentine, 64, of 303 N. 15th St., Apt. A, Olean, was charged at approximately 3:11 p.m. with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, all unclassified misdemeanors; consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and following too close, both infractions.

According to the Olean Police Department, the charges stem from an accident on the 200 block of North First Street. Galentine allegedly recorded a BAC of .28 percent.
