Christiana, TN : 83-year-old Charlene King died in a wreck in Rutherford County on Tuesday, May 3, 2016

An elderly woman was killed in a wreck in Christiana on Tuesday.

Police said 83-year-old Charlene King failed to stop at a stop sign on Harrison Road and crashed into another vehicle.

King was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later passed away.

Three people were injured in the other vehicle.

According to the THP report, drug and alcohol were not factors in the wreck.
