Syracuse,NY : 3 small children seriously injured in 3-car crash in Syracuse on December, Monday 18th 2017

Three small children were thrown from their car seats and seriously injured after a 3-car crash this morning on Midland and Rill avenues in Syracuse, according to Syracuse police.

The accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. today, police said.

A school bus appears to have turned left onto Midland Avenue and then east onto Hall Avenue when the three cars traveling behind it rear-ended each other, Syracuse police said.

Police are continuing to investigate, and are looking for the school bus driver to see what he or she witnessed, police said.

The injured children were taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment.

Syracuse police are asking anyone with information to call 442-5130.
