El Dorado ,KS : Car Driver killed and two passengers killed in Multiple Vehicle Crash along US 54 on Friday ,April 17 2015

Three people from Wichita have died in a multiple vehicle crash in south-central Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened Friday when a car swerved into the path of a pickup truck on U.S. 54, about 20 miles east of El Dorado.

The crash killed the car's driver, 45-year-old Charla J. Straws. Also killed were two of her passengers: 35-year-old Caesare M. Smith and 48-year-old Sonja Roubideaux. Another passenger in the car and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to Wichita hospitals.

Flying debris from the crash struck a second pickup truck but that driver wasn't hurt.
