Blades, DE : One person dead after car crash fire south of Blades on Saturday January 30 2016

The Delaware State Police says a man died after he drove off a road south of Blades and his car caught fire.
State Police said in a statement that it happened Saturday around 4:30 a.m. on Seaford Road south of East 10th Street. State Police say that for unknown reasons the driver of a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck drove off the roadway and struck a tree and the car caught fire.
State Police say the driver was trapped in the vehicle and died as a result of his injuries. State Police say the road in the area of the crash was closed for about 3 ½ hours while the crash was investigated.
State Police identified the driver as 53-year-old Timothy M. Crockett of Seaford
