Coca Beach , FL : One Pedestrian killed in Crash after hit by Car while walking near Intersection on Saturday , February 28th 2015

A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning in Cocoa Beach, police said.

The man was walking near the intersection of State Road A1A and North Third Street around 5:10 a.m. when he was hit by a car, said Maj. Jay Harmon of the Cocoa Beach Police Department.

The driver stopped and cooperated with police, Harmon said. No charges are pending against the driver.

The names of the victim and driver were not released.
