Scottsbluff, NE : Two in crash treated for injuries on Wednesday, December 21st 2016
A Scottsbluff Police officer takes a statement after a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of 10th Avenue and East Overland in Scottsbluff Wednesday afternoon.
According to information released the 17-year-old driver of a Chevy Trailblazer had been traveling westbound on East Overland and attempted to turn on 10th Avenue after passing a semi truck. She pulled in front of a blue 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix being driven by Martina Plasencio, 30.
Plasencio and an 11-year-old girl were transported by ambulance to Regional West Medical Center.
The 17-year-old girl was cited on charges of failure to yield and a 17-year-old passenger in her car was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana.
