RILEY COUNTY, FL : Deadly crash shuts down highway near Manhattan on Wednesday, 6th September 2023

Riley County police responded to a deadly crash, which shut down a highway near Manhattan.

The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) identified the deceased as Jhon Paulo Reid, 20, of Manhattan. The highway was reopened as of 12:13 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The RCPD said on social media Thursday morning that K-18 between Miller Parkway and Scenic Drive heading westbound was shut down because of the crash. Police recommended taking Miller Parkway if you’re driving west out of Manhattan.
