Booneville, MS : Martha E. Cole, 62, killed in a two-vehicle crash in Prentiss County on Friday afternoon, February 12, 2016

A Booneville woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Prentiss County.

Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers responded to the intersection of MS Highway 4 and County Road 8301, west of Booneville, at about 1:45 p.m. Friday. It appeared that Martha E. Cole, 62, of Booneville, was traveling east in a Nissan Altima near CR 8301 when a Ford F-150 driven by Tyler K. Clemmer, 19, of Ripley, collided into the rear of her car.

Cole died from her injuries. Clemmer was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
