SACRAMENTO, CA : 1 dead after hit-and-run in Sacramento on Sunday, 2nd June 2024

One person is dead after a wrong-way crash along Capital City Freeway in Sacramento Sunday night.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision was reported around 9:15 p.m. along Capital City Freeway, not far from Exposition Boulevard.

California Highway Patrol said a Nissan Altima was hit by a Toyota Corolla that was driving southbound in the northbound lanes. The Nissan was pushed into the center median.
