LAWRENCE COUNTY, OH : Fatal crash closes portion of road in Lawrence County on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

A 16-year-old died following a crash on Wednesday along State Route 243, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m. and involved two vehicles near County Road 2 in Lawrence County.

Troopers report a driver in a Ford Explorer Sport Trac traveling westbound on SR 243 lost control, traveled left of center and hit a Jeep Wrangler.
