A Mooresville man was injured Monday when he lost control of his moped.
According to Trooper J. Swagger of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the man was traveling north on Linwood Road, turning right onto Brumley Road, when his moped’s wheel struck gravel near the roadway and crashed.
Swagger said the man, William Hutchins, 62, was transported to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is still under investigation, Swagger said.
