BUREAU COUNTY, IL : Fiery crash on I-80 shuts down traffic for hours on Friday, 23rd June 2023

The crash on eastbound I-80 blocked traffic for hours on Friday afternoon. The Illinois Department of Transportation has not released information on the cause of the crash or who was in it. News 8 has not received confirmation from IDOT that lanes have reopened but navigation apps do not show any hazards in the area.
