Livemore , CA : One person was killed after two cars collided east of Vasco Road and One of the vehicles flipped over and caught fire on Wednesday afternoon, December 10th 2014

A fatal rollover crash shut down all eastbound lanes of Interstate 580 in Livermore for more than an hour on Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
By 4:30 p.m., one lane had reopened, and the rest were expected to open soon after.
Reports of the collision came in about 3 p.m. after two cars collided east of Vasco Road, a CHP spokesman said.
One of the vehicles flipped over and caught fire. Several passersby were out of their cars with fire extinguishers trying to put out the blaze, the CHP reported.
One person died, the spokesman said, but it wasn’t immediately clear whether anyone else was injured.
