Las Vegas, NV : Man died in fatal hit-and-run in southwest L.V. on Tuesday night, June 28, 2016

Metro Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run in the southwest valley Tuesday night as a case of impaired driving.

About 11:15 p.m. a 25-year-old woman driving a sedan struck a man walking on the side of Sunset Road near Quarterhorse Lane, just west of the 215 Beltway, according to police.

The man was walking on the side of the road in an area with no sidewalk.

Police said the sedan then struck another vehicle and was then disabled against a light pole.

The woman was arrested and is suspected of impaired driving, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
