AURORA, CO : Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run crash on Colfax on Thursday, 25th May 2023

A Denver man has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened in North Aurora late Thursday night.

Officers with the Aurora Police Department (APD) responded to the area of East Colfax Avenue and North Joliet Street around 11:15 p.m. and found a 56-year-old man lying in the eastbound lanes with serious injuries. He died at the scene and will be identified at a later time by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office.
