WYTHE COUNTY, VA : 32-year-old man killed in rollover crash on I-81 on Sunday, 19th May 2024

A man is dead after his truck flipped on Interstate 81 in Wythe County on Sunday, May 19.

The crash occurred just before 9 a.m. State police said 32-year-old Juan J. Macias, of Baltimore, Maryland, was driving a Ford F150 on I-81 South when he went off the right side of the road.

The Ford hit a guardrail, flipped, and rolled over two times, before coming to a stop near Formato Lane. However, Macias was thrown from the truck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
