Seminole County, FL : Sanford woman and her son died in a head-on collision on State Road 417 on Friday September 18 2015

A Sanford woman and her son died in a head-on collision on State Road 417 in Seminole County late Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
According to FHP, Alexis Hope McMillin, 31, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of State Road 417, near Rinehart Road, shortly before 11:30 p.m.
McMillin’s car struck a southbound vehicle, driven by Jaime Rojas, 29, of Deltona, before landing on top of a guardrail.
McMillin and her 16-year-old son, Austin, were both killed.
Rojas and a second teen passenger in McMillan’s vehicle were taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
A third vehicle struck debris and a guardrail to dodge the crash, but the driver wasn't injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
