Lake County, IN : A motorist died in crash on I-80/94 in Lake County on Saturday, 4th April, 2020

A motorist died on after losing control of her vehicle on I-80/94 in Lake County, the Indiana State Police said.
The victim was identified as Bianca San Juan Vasquez, 46, of East Chicago.
According to police, at 1:50 p.m. Vasquez was eastbound on I-80/94 when, near the Burr Street exit, for unknown reasons she struck head-on the guardrail attenuator dividing the exit ramps from the interstate. Vasquez was ejected from her 2016 Toyota Rav4 and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Her vehicle itself then struck a semi-tractor trailer, whose operator was not injured.
The roadway was restricted for investigation and cleanup for approximately four hours.
