Aurora, ME : Maine driver struck and killed by SUV vehicle on Route 9 in Aurora on Thursday November 26 2015

Police say a driver who decided to stop his SUV on a road in Maine and get out was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.
Police it's not known why 34-year-old Anthony Barnes of Plymouth decided to shut down his vehicle in the driving lane and get out at about 6 p.m. Thursday on Route 9 in Aurora, Maine.
A passing car clipped the left rear door of the SUV and then struck Barnes, who later died of his injuries at a hospital.
The driver and a passenger in the other car were uninjured. Two other passengers in Barnes' car also weren't hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
