Jenkins County, GA : Three people died in 2-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 25 at Gays Hill Church Road on Wednesday, January 27, 2016

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a crash that left three people dead.

It happened on U.S. Highway 25 just south of Millen just before 9 p.m. Wednesday night. The victims are from Portal in Bulloch County. Lois Burke, 68, her granddaughter-in-law Courtney Hill, 23, and Hill's 1-year-old Paisley Hill were all killed in the crash. Officials say the car Hill was driving was turning onto Gays Hill Church Road when a second car hit her from behind. Otis Burke was injured in the crash and airlifted to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. There is no word on his condition.

According to GSP, no charges have been filed as of right now, but they continue to investigate.
