Williston, N.D : 69-year-old woman dead after an ATV crash on private property in Williams County on Monday, May 30, 2016

A 69-year-old Williston woman is dead after an all-terrain vehicle crash on private property in Williams County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Kathleen Hovde was found between a wooden fence post and the John Deer Gator 4X4, a four-wheeled work utility vehicle.

Authorities believe the vehicle was parked and rolled downhill when the woman tried to get back in. It was in neutral with the ignition key in the on position.

The incident happened about 2 p.m. Monday.
