BOYNTON BEACH, FL : Man hospitalized after Boynton Beach crash on March, Thursday 1st 2018

A man was taken to a hospital early Thursday after a car crashed in Boynton Beach, police said.

The single-car wreck closed East Gateway Boulevard between Northeast Fourth Street and Northeast Fourth Court for hours. All lanes of traffic reopened by 8:30 a.m.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.

The man’s condition was not immediately known, though authorities said he was taken to a hospital as a trauma patient.
