Phoenix, AZ : Man killed hit and run crash Friday night on July 18, 2014

A man was killed just before 9p.m. Friday night, when he was hit by a car. Police say Ruben Jimenez Solis, 53-years-old, was struck by a drunk driver. They believe that driver is 66-year-old Vernon Taylor. Police say Taylor initially stopped, then took off when police arrived on the scene. Solis was taken to the hospital where he later died. Taylor was booked for DUI and leaving the scene of a fatal traffic collision.
