Detroit ,MI : 39- Years old woman killed and her 7 - years old daughter seriously injured after car crashed into tree on Detroit’s east side on Monday morning, June 1st 2015

A 39-year-old woman was killed her 7-year-old daughter seriously hurt Monday morning when the car they were in crashed into a tree on Detroit’s east side.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. on Canyon Street near East Warren Avenue.

Police said the woman, identified by a family member to Local 4 as Karen Jacinda Treadwell Ross, was pronounced dead at the scene.
