Two people died in a traffic accident here during Wednesday's snow storm, authorities say.

The two-vehicle accident occured at 12:18 p.m. near the Pine Meadow apartments on the 100 block of West Hampton Street, according to Burlington County Central Communications.

Additional details about the accident and the victims were not immediately available.

The cause of the accident was not known, but the crash occurred at a time of multiple calls for storm-related incidents, a dispatch supervisor noted.

Wednesday's storm dropped two to three inches of snow on the tri-county area by 2.30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Westampton.
