Collier County, FL : 1 dead in motorcycle crash in East Naples on Davis Blvd on Thursday, 28th February 2019

At least one person is dead in a crash with a motorcycle and a vehicle in Collier County.

Florida Highway Patrol is responding to a fatal crash on the 7000 block of Davis Boulevard in East Naples Thursday.

FHP said the motorcycle driver was confirmed dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle is being taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation.

There are roadblocks in eastbound lanes on Davis Blvd just west of Santa Barbara Boulevard. The crash is about three miles east of U.S. 41.

Drivers use caution or seek an alternate route.
