LAKELAND, FL : Car crashes into Lakeland house, 3 arrested on Sunday, 5th April, 2020

Three people have been arrested after a car crashed into a Lakeland home early Sunday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Sarena Stokes, 42, was behind the wheel of a bronze 1999 Buick sedan, heading west on Mt. Tabor Road shortly before midnight when, for unknown reasons, the car left the roadway, PCSO spokesman Brian Bruchey said in a news release Monday morning.

The Buick struck some mailboxes, went through a field and then burst into a home located on Chart Prine Road in the Kathleen area — coming to a stop in a bedroom, he said.
