EDMOND, OK : 54-year-old man died Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle crash on Sunday, January, 28th 2018

A 54-year-old man died Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle crash, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office reported.

About 2:30 p.m. Sunday, John Zachary Gentry, 71, was headed west on Waterloo Road when he attempted to turn left onto Council Road, the sheriff's office reported. James Paul Blanchard was riding a motorcycle east on Waterloo Road, and crashed into Gentry's SUV.

Blanchard died at the scene, the sheriff's office reported. Gentry was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
