Yuba City truck driver killed in crash that shuts down in Bakersfield California

Northbound Interstate 5 near the Highway 99 junction was shut down for at least six hours Monday evening after a deadly crash between two semitrucks.Rajinder Singh, 55, of Yuba City, was killed when his truck collided with the rear trailer of another big rig, the Kern County coroner's office said.The California Highway Patrol said Singh didn't react in time to stalled traffic ahead of him. The CHP said traffic came to a stop for a separate truck fire.Eyewitness News didn't get information on the other truck driver.
