Detroit Lakes,MN : Names of two people killed in crash near Ice Cracking Lodge released on April, Friday 20th 2018
Two people were killed, and two others injured Friday in a single vehicle crash that occurred on Becker County Highway 35, west of Ice Cracking Lodge, during the early morning hours.
Phillip Edward Warren, 56, of Mahnomen, and Lorraine Lynn Warren, 54, of Ponsford, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other occupants of the vehicle, 44-year-old Cynthia Ann Jones of Mahnomen and 32-year-old Robert James Warren of Ponsford, were also injured in the crash.
Jones was transported to Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, while Warren was airlifted to Essentia Hospital in Fargo for treatment.The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The Becker County Sheriff's Office received a report of the accident at approximately 1:52 a.m. on Friday, April 20. Sheriff's deputies were assisted at the scene by the White Earth Tribal Police Department, White Earth Ambulance, Carsonville Fire and Rescue, the Detroit Lakes Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance/Air Care.
The crash remains under investigation.
