MENASHA, WI : Multiple people hurt in head-on crash on Saturday, 13th July 2024

Multiple people were hurt and one person was arrested for impaired driving after a head-on collision in Menasha.

Menasha Police Department Lt. Matt Lenss said two vehicles crashed in the 300 block of De Pere Street just after 8 p.m. Saturday.

Lenss said investigators believe a vehicle driving north on Depere Street crossed the centerline and hit a southbound vehicle head-on.

The 25-year-old Menasha woman who drove the northbound vehicle is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She is in custody for Felony Operating While Intoxicated 2nd offense. Police said they are recommending charges of Felony Operating While Revoked Causing Injury.
